The Face Shop Calendula Essential Moisture Eye Cream Review

My dark circles and sunken eyes have been one of my biggest skin issues since I was a teen. It’s genetic, it’s stubborn and nothing really works for them. Top it with insomnia and I have been flaunting panda eye for over 1 and a half-decade now. When it comes to genetic dark circles, topical cosmetics cannot really do much. But since I had a wonderful experience with The Face Shop Calendula Serum, I decided to give The Face Shop Calendula Essential Moisture Eye Cream A Try.

My Experience With The Face Shop Calendula Essential Moisturizer Eye Cream:

The Face Shop Calendula Essential Moisture Eye Cream Review

Like I mentioned in countless Eye Cream Reviews prior to this, I have every single under-eye issue you can imagine. Not only is my entire eye area visibly dark, but my eye also looks lost within a hollow, promptly followed by real bad bags.

After trying numerous eye creams, the moment I removed the lid of the frosty glass jar, I knew that it doesn’t have what it takes to fight my stubborn sunken eyes. You see, I like my eye creams thicker. Like really thick, the kind that you would scoop out of a nozzle and the shape won’t budge when you try to jiggle it. It wasn’t runny though. It just has the texture of any moisturizer to my liking.

Anyway, I apply it, and it has the same smell and feel of the Serum from the same range, just a bit thicker. Applying it is a pleasant experience, and it doesn’t feel greasy post-application. But it really didn’t do anything to my undereye area apart from keeping it hydrated. I still used it for 21 days and my verdict remained the same.

Overall,

The Face Shop Calendula Essential Moisture Eye Cream Failed to impress me. But it didn’t stop me from ordering other products from the same range. Currently, I’m thoroughly enjoying the moisturizer from the calendula range. And I have to say that I cannot really defer much between the two products apart from the jar size.
