I have always romanticised the woods and the mountains. And ever since I was a kid, I longed more just the vacation. I wanted to live it. So I started planting… spruce trees, Debdarus and salt cedars. Starting from a very young age.
A lot of them were cut down to change the pavement when I was away for college. But one of each stands. The last salt cedar was saved by cutting out a tree well. The rest of them, just gone. To be honest they didn’t grow much, the soil was not good that side, my mother says.
But the 3 remaining trees grows taller and taller, and breaks down during a bad Kalboishakhi, but keeps growing again.
I used to decorate the spruce during Christmas when it was smaller. And today it stands taller even after breaking so many time. 🌲🌳

This Mother’s Day I decided to pamper myself to a relaxing session at @bbluntsalonskolkata .
