It’s Time For Our Kids To Login To Infotainment. Here’s Why!

If you’ve been following my blog, you must have realized that I’m constantly on the hunt to find apps or websites that help me manage my finances and keep my little entertained entertained at all times. And as a working mom, time takes its toll on me, and sometimes I feel a little restless after managing things at home. But then I was introduced to a website that finally helped me keep my mortgage in check, and Seiji feels entertained too—interested to know more? Keep reading!

So recently I came across the website called Mortgage Calculator. This website  acts as a way to keep your mortgage information in check. But it also means that your kids could access various money games. And I was awestruck because I could get the best of both worlds. We all know how to manage finances now, but can we talk about the gaming section of this website? It has given us access to many different games like Money Games, Real Estate Games, Food business simulation games and much more.

When it comes to screen time, I firmly believe that  if they’re on their way to learning as they play games, I don’t see where the harm is in that. It’s giving a source of entertainment to your children and teaching them new things simultaneously while also giving you a “me time”.

Speaking about the games, I found the game Grocery Cashier, The Amazing World Of Gumball Tidy Up and Open Restaurant the best. Now, if I have to review the three, I’ll have to tell you about the games first.

Let’s begin with Grocery Cashier; younger kids can practice addition and subtraction skills and gain financial literacy in the game by managing a computerised cash register. Every consumer is at a different game level. The quantity of products you ring up rises as the game goes, as the time allotted for each client shrinks. As each item descends the conveyor belt, enter its price, then press the add button. Instead of utilizing a keyboard, you must click or touch the buttons on the cashier to enter payments. There is a clear button that you may use to remove any previous input if you make a mistake. When inputting sums, if the product price is a total dollar number, you do not need to enter anything after the decimal.

Similarly, if the product price is in dollars and dimes, you do not need to enter pennies. Click the total button after inputting all the items. If the consumer uses a gift certificate to pay, you must enter the value of the gift voucher and a negative sign. For clients who use gift cards to gamble, you do not give them change. Enter the desired amount, the minus sign, and then click the DONE button on the right. When a consumer pays with cash, you input the payment amount and press the “Pay” button. You next select the currency (coins and banknotes) that corresponds to the debt and, when finished, click the “done” button.

My kid was able to learn his math quicker and has been enjoying this game throughout the time the screen was in his hands. And it helped him with his homework too. How is this not a win-win situation?

By the way, I am a parent who would want my kids to learn how to keep tidy at all times, and that is when The Amazing World Of Gumball Tidy Up comes in. Kids can play the housekeeping game The Amazing World of Gumball Tidy Up. As Gumball likes to raid freshly cleaned rooms, keep an eye out for him while assisting Darwin in cleaning the Watterson residence.

The game is simple and easy for kids of almost all ages, and if adults want to indulge in some, then who are we to stop them? It is just that fun to play!

The last game that my baby and I enjoyed was Open Restaurant. You attempt to meet a daily revenue target for the restaurant in Open Restaurant. As the head waiter (or Maître d’hôtel), your duties include inviting customers to a seat, taking their orders, serving their food, presenting them with a bill, and clearing the table to make room for the next set of diners.

The isometric design of this game is stunning. The game’s days each last for one minute. The previous day’s earnings are carried over to the next. The game becomes significantly more difficult after you’ve played for about a week.

All in all, the website is a blast. See for yourself; I kid you not, it has been managed by finances as smoothly as butter, and my baby gets to enjoy his screen time with entertainment and information. Get your life together. Visit that site!
