A couple of months before I found out I was pregnant, I received a huge package from Everteen. I’ve already reviewed their menstrual cup right away and then my horrible ordeal begun and I was out of touch from my blog. My Experience:

So I have switched to menstrual cup from March 2018, but on my first day of my periods I still needed a back up, especially if I was going out and had no access to empty my cup every 3-4hrs. I get heavy flow on my first days. However, pad seems uncomfortable and waste considering the leaks, if any were mild. So I was really glad to discover these panty liners, thin and small and super comfortable to absorb leaks and discharges. It doesn’t feel like you are wearing anything at all. I thought what a great thing for people who wears pads because I remember days when I used to wear pad and hated the last couple of days. Wearing pad during the last few days often resulted in rashes, and as soon as I removed the pad due to the rashes, I used to bleed, again until I wore another pad. That used to go on for 2 days and honestly I hated those 2 days more than the first.

Anyway fast forward to the month I got pregnant. As some of you might know, I took a contraceptive which failed. So when my period was late, I assumed that the pill messed up my cycle. I didn’t know when and where I would get my period and these individually wrapped panty liners were so tiny I always kept one in my jeans pocket. Then after a couple of weeks I found out I was pregnant and one of the very first signs apart from no appetite was discharges. I never had discharge like that and my heightened sense of smell didn’t help either. EVERYTHING and EVERYONE smelled horrible and with my Hypermesis Gravidarum (which means a hormonal disbalance 1000times worse than normal pregnancy) I vomited at the smell of everything. I stopped using vaginal wash right away after finding out about the pregnancy. I didn’t know if it was safe, and due to my HG I never even got to ask my doctor if I can use an intimate wash because 100% of our conversation with my doctor was regarding if we should terminate my pregnancy to save my life.

That’s when these panty liners came to save the day. Like I already said, they are so comfortable that you don’t feel like you are anything, I started wearing these panty liners throughout my first trimester and it helped a lot. They absorbed any discharges decreasing the smell. What a great time to have discovered them!  Anyway my discharge thankfully stopped as soon as I entered my secondly trimester.

Overall, I’m really impressed with these panty liners; they are soft, comfortable and even looks cute.
