JayJun Real Water Brightening Black Mask Review

Hey guys, today I’ll be reviewing another Kit that I used during Durga Puja, and this time it’s JayJun Real Water Brightening Black Mask. Jayjun is a new brand to me and considering the fact that it was created by a group of Surgeons and Dermatologists from one of Korea’s renowned skin clinic, I was really eager to try it.

Description:
One of the best brightening Sheetmask we’ve come across. De-tox tired skin with Jayjun Real Water brightening Sheetmask. It comes with a Cleansing Foam, Vita Snow Essence, and the sheetmask ofcourse!

STEP 3 Real Water Brightening Black Mask
This highly moisturizing water-full mask pack turns dry and rough skin into smooth and moist skin with ingredients such as Sodium Hyaluronate, Betaine and Ceramide and keeps your skin resilient and bright with Niacinamide and Adenosine

My Experience:

Real Water Cleansing Foam:

Ingredients:

Purified water, Palmitic Acid, Glycerin, Potassium Hydroxide, Stearic Acid, Lauric Acid, Myristic Acid, Beeswax, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Glycol Distearate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sorbitan Olivate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sea Water, Carica Papaya (Papaya) Fruit Extract, Propylene Glycol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Butylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Chloride, Disodium EDTA, Chlorphenesin, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance

According to my Cosdna Analysis there are too many acne triggers present in it. Also, even without a pH strip I could tell that the pH level of this cleansing foam is really high. Any way since you can use it up to 1-2 times I didn’t bother about the pH level and also it didn’t break me out. The undiluted cleanser looked a lot like the tacky fairness creams from India and diluted it didn’t foam up very well since it doesn’t contain sulphate, a plus point.

Vita Snow Essence

Ingredients:

Purified water, Methylpropanediol, Glycerin, Niacinamide, Sea Water, Sodium Hyaluronate, Illicium Verum Fruit Extract, Allantoin, Betaine, Beta-glucan, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Pyridoxine HCL, Tocopheryl Acetate, Hydroxyethyl Urea, 1,2-Hexandiol, Butylene Glycol, Caprylyl Glycol, Carbomer, Tromethamine, Glyceryl Polyacrylate, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Adenosine, Sodium Starch Octenyl Succinate, Calcium Pantothenate, Maltodextrin, Ethylhexylglycerin, Silica, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance

My CosDNA analysis came up pretty clean, also it contains niacinamide which is a beloved brightening ingredient of mine. The texture was watery like any other essence and it took a few seconds of patting for the essence to get absorbed. Can be used twice.

Real Water Brightening Black Mask

Purified water, Methylpropanediol, Glycerin, 1,2-Hexandiol, Niacinamide, Sea Water, Sodium Hyaluronate, Betaine, Allantoin, Ceramide 03, Beta-glucan, Hydroxyethyl Urea, Butylene Glycol, Carbomer, Tromethamine, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Adenosine, Caprylic/Capric Tryglycerides, Diethoxyethyl Succinate, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Phospholipids, Ethylhexylglycerin, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance

The ingredient of the black mask was pretty similar to the essence which probably means that the sheet is drenched in the Vita Snow Essence itself. Thus I washed my face with the first step, applied a toner and went straight to the 3rd step saving the essence for next morning.

The sheet was black and made out of pure cotton hardwood charcoal. You guys probably know that charcoal acts like a sponge to absorb toxins and serum from deep within the pores, which makes me love black masks even more. The fitting was not very great but it had eye flaps, which I love.

The brightening effect I received from this mask was not very overwhelming, but given to the fact that I had been out under the sun a lot during those days, it did a pretty good job. In fact I used it on Shasthi, the day we pandal hopped for long hours under the scorching sun and we came home tired and burned and I compensated my skin with this mask later that night. My skin was plump and smooth the next morning with no trace of the tremendous torture my skin went through the previous day. So overall I’m pretty much happy with the experience.
