July 2016 Fab Bag Review

After my major disappointment with last month’s Fab Bag, they seemed to have made it up this month. I was pretty impressed when they asked which shade I would prefer from the Sugar Cosmetics It’s A Pout Time Range. It’s no secret that I am a huge fan of Sugar Cosmetics lipsticks and knowing that I’m getting one with my Fab Bag was a delight. So I chose the shade Mad Magenta and before I realized that it’s already July the bag was resting on my table.

Only last month I said that I found my cosmetic pouch. However, this month’s bag gave the last one a tough competition. I might be travelling tomorrow and I am still not sure which one to carry with me.

POV: You trust the process. I visited @missnmam_clinic for my monthly salon and chopped off my waist length hair after 2 decades. While I had no intentions going bob, my hairdresser suggested I try it out and she seemed like she knew what she was doing so I just decided to trust the process and went with it. While do kind of miss my waist length hair, it does look fun. And my husband who never saw me with short hair loved how it turned out. He has been asking me to go bob for a few years now. I also found my skin expert from my Glass Skin era working here. After a long hiatus from visiting salons during my pregnancy, postpartum and lockdown, when I visited the salon I frequently visited, she has left the old salon and I finally found her after years. So if you’re looking for a salon South Kolkata, I would definitely recommend Miss & Mam Salon #chopchop

There was a time when celebrating my sister meant waiting. Waiting for Christmas. Waiting for summer holidays. Waiting for someone to fly home with a suitcase full of gifts. But somewhere between becoming an aunt and watching my sister build a beautiful life in the UK, I realised that love doesn’t have to wait for the next flight. This year marked my sister and brother-in-law’s **10th official wedding anniversary**—their very first as parents. ❤️ After the chaos (and cost!) of shipping a parcel from India to the UK for my niece’s rice ceremony, I started looking for a different way to celebrate them. Instead of sending a gift all the way from India, I wanted to spoil them with something special from the country they now call home. Arko and I have been planning on taking Seiji to his very first movie experience but couldn’t actually decide on the movie. So when Toy Story 5 launched I knew this was it. And what better way than celebrating Father’s Day watching Toy Story, eating popcorn and watching his absolutely mesmerised?
