I have been having so many skin issues lately that it’s become a hard task to create a good routine. I have been suffering from closed comedones since 2017. Anything that feels heavy on my skin can clog my pores. Resulting in stubborn closed comedones that takes months to heal, even with aggressive skin treatments. The aggressive skin treatments in return damages my skin barrier and before even my skin recovers, I get another closed comedones bout. The aging signs appeared after I gave birth during the pandemic. And if closed comedones, damaged barrier and aging signs weren’t enough, I started getting these white bumps. The bumps have these tiny puss filled heads and appears mainly on the damaged area.

So while I try to fix one issue, another one pops out. And after experimenting with different routines, I decided to introduce ceramide into my routine. It seemed like the one solution to all my problems. A good ceramide product can repair my constantly damaged barrier while I keep on with my closed comedone treatment. It can stimulate collagen production and combat aging signs. And I read somewhere that these white bumps can be caused by damaged barrier as well as by clogged pores. And it seemed like worth a try.

There isn’t a By Wishtrend product that I haven’t loved. Even for someone sensitive to Vita C, their Vita C serum works like a charm for me. So it only made sense that I tried their Cera Barrier Soothing Ampoule. Especially since it has added soothing ingredients along with ceramide.

While the star ingredient of the ampoule is Ceramide. The ingredient list starts with Centella Asiatica, hence the ‘soothing’ in the name. It also contains plant derived squalene, and multiple derivatives of peptides.

Another reason I chose the Ampoule instead of a ceramide moisturiser is because ampoules are the most power packed step. With their high concentration of active ingredients, they are like little miracles. They can be expensive, but they are always, almost worth it.

My Experience With By Wishtrend Cera-Barrier Soothing Ampoule:

I have been raving about the By Wishtrend Cera-Barrier Soothing Ampoule all over my social media since my first application. And trust me when I say this, I noticed a difference in my skin within a couple of usages. I used it during my AM routine, and again during my PM routine. And the next morning I woke up with my white bumps gone. My skin had been stinging due to the retinoids, and the stinging went away within day 2. A few more days and even my closed comedones shrunk up. A few very tiny ones can still be felt when I wash my face. But unlike before, they can hardly be seen.

I have been using it religiously day and night and I actually enjoying the application. I use it right after my toner. The luxurious, milky ampoule glides into the skin without leaving any greasiness. I have been using it so religiously that I have almost finished up my first bottle. And it’s actually worth it. After my religious usage of the Cera-Barrier Ampoule, my skin feels restored. My skin literally haven’t felt so good since I bid goodbye to my 20s. With the bumps gone, the barrier repaired and my closed comedones gone, my skin feels new. And I don’t know if it’s the ampoule itself, or me enjoying me application but my sagging cheeks have been looking really good lately. With a hyperactive toddler, I don’t get much time to do face yoga or guasha, but I try to massage my skin every step of my skincare. So my new sharper jawline can really be because of this ampoule, or an added step of massaging, or maybe both. But I am loving my skin and have already ordered my next bottle.

Final Takeaway:

Experimenting with different products is part of my job. There is always more than one new product on my testing table to test. And since I keep on moving from one product to another, I don’t always call any product, my holy grail. And when I do, I mean it. The By Wishtrend Cera-Barrier Soothing Ampoule is definitely a Holy Grail for me. I cannot imagine my skincare routine without it. And I cannot imagine using retinoid without it.

If you are someone who has damaged barrier or your skin could use a soothing product, you should really try this out.
