Unveiling Paradise: A 8-Day Andaman Island Trip Itinerary
If you are caught up with the recent Maldives vs Lakshadweep controversy, but both are slightly above your budget, I have the perfect travel plan for you. You see, Lakshadweep has been in my bucket list especially since my Andaman trip 8 years ago. And the main reason it got into my bucket list was because it was a virgin island back in the days. However, reading the current news, and scrolling through social media, it’s clear that it’s not going to remain a virgin island for long. There’s a chance that for the next few months Lakshadweep might see more tourists than Andaman.
So If your idea of a perfect getaway involves pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and lush greenery, then the Andaman Islands should be at the top of your travel bucket list. This tropical haven in the Bay of Bengal offers a unique blend of adventure, relaxation, and natural beauty. In this 7-day Andaman Island trip itinerary, we’ll guide you through the must-visit spots and activities for an unforgettable experience.
Day 1: Arrival in Port Blair
Your Andaman adventure begins with a flight to the capital city, Port Blair. After settling into your accommodation, kick off your journey with a visit to the Cellular Jail. This historical landmark is a reminder of India’s struggle for independence. Attend the captivating light and sound show in the evening, which narrates the tales of the island’s past.

Start your day early with a boat ride to North Bay Island, known for its vibrant coral reefs and diverse marine life. Snorkeling and scuba diving are popular activities here. Later, head to Ross Island, a short boat ride away. Explore the remnants of British architecture and soak in the island’s tranquility.
Day 3: Havelock Island – Radhanagar Beach

But be aware, using mobile phone, stopping the vehicle and approaching Jawara people are strictly prohibited.
Visit the limestone caves, a marvel of nature’s artistry, adorned with stunning stalactite and stalagmite formations. Afterward, make your way to the famous Mud Volcano, a unique geological phenomenon that adds an exciting touch to your exploration. Baratang’s lush mangrove creeks and dense forests offer a picturesque setting for birdwatching and nature enthusiasts. As the day concludes, savor the memories of Baratang’s untouched beauty.
