Hey guys, hope you all are doing well. Today I’ll review a gem of a product that Beautybarn has sent me to test and I’ve been since hooked. Remember how I used a dirty contour brush on my already sensitive skin and my cheeks have been even more sensitive since then? It’s been over 2 years and I still keep getting stubborn bumps on those area every now and then. The only two products that have helped keep those bumps at bay are the Cosrx Salicylic Acid Cleanser and the ByWishtrend Polyphenols in Propolis 15% Ampoule.

Description:
This ampoule is formulated with key ingredients like propolis, Houtuynia Cordata Extract and Zinc PCA that is known for their anti-inflammatory,anti-bacterial properties and is great for sensitive,acne-prone skin.
Capsicum extract (Houttuynia Cordata Extract) is used instead of purified water to calm the acne
Propolis composed of resin, beeswax, saliva secreted by bees and contains various enzymes. Propolis is a proven source of various acne skin improvement. It is also known for reducing skin inflammation, reducing flushed skin and pigmentation, and increasing skin moisture content.
Also contains Moisturizing agents such as Sodium Hyaluronate, Panthenol, and Betaine effectively provides moisture and hydration to the skin.

Directions: After cleansing, prep your skin with toner and apply an appropriate amount evenly to the face.

My Experience:
So I started using the propolis ampoule about 3 weeks ago. It comes in an amber glass bottle with a dropper. The ampoule is thick and a bit sticky so I use it after my first essence, my serum and before my moisturizer. Even though it feels sticky on the face right after applying, it gets absorbed within a few seconds and I finish it off with a moisturizer. Since I leave in a very hot and humid region I have been using Aloe Gel as moisturizer for summer since last year and it works like a charm. The ampoule doesn’t feel greasy after finishing it off with the aloe gel.
Ever since I started using this ampoule there has been no sign of bumps, redness or irritation. My skin feels well nourished, plumped and overall healthy. This is probably the first time in last one year that I have a spotless. uneven skin (*tuchwood*) and I’m just a little de-tanning away to regain my glass skin. I use it twice daily and it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin even during the day which is great because everything feels heavy on my skin during summer.
So overall, I found a gem. According to the claims everyone from dry, dehydrated skin to oily skin can use it. But I can only vouch for sensitive skin beauties as I have sensitive skin and it worked like a charm on my skin. However, seeing its effect on bumps I can say acne prone beauties can use it as well. But dehydrated yet acne prone beauties have got to try it at least once.
Believe it or not, this is my first propolis product. Being a huge fan of snail products, I’ve never really got around using products containing propolis- which can be found in the entrance of the beehive and is produced by bees to protect injured areas from contamination. So I guess I found a new favourite ingredient.

Pros:
Works like a charm on bumps
Gives a spotless kin fighting any trace of irritation or redness
Nourishes the skin

Con:
I didn’t find any. Though some people might find the price to be a con but trust me it’s totally worth it,
