Accoje Reviving Cream Review
It’s been a long time since I’ve done a K-Beauty review, mainly because as a new mom surviving the pandemic I get little time to take care of my skin. That being said, I still do manage to take at least some care of my skin. I’ve worked out a routine that works for me; it’s much simpler and just once a day unless I’m going out, but I don’t go out because I’m still in self-quarantine anyway. So one of my husband’s 2 daddy duties is to feed our baby his lunch and the other one of his duties is to put him down for a nap. And while he’s at it I manage to get a quick shower and get through with my simple CTM routine. Sometimes when the baby is in a good mood I can even exfoliate and slather a serum before the moisturizer. So since my routine is very, very simple, for someone who never, ever failed to go through her 10 step routine no matter what, I need products that can make up for the missing steps.
And today I’ll be reviewing one of the priced products that have achieved its own place in my very simple routine: Accoje Reviving Cream.
So you know how I’m always looking out for Indian sites that sell authentic K-Beauty products, and since I’m not ordering overseas during the pandemic, I found out about this site called Wonder Skin. They have two K-beauty Brands- Accoje and Aroma Yong. I got myself the Reviving Cream from Accoje because during the harsh winter a cream on its own without a serum wasn’t giving me enough hydration to go through the whole day and this one looked promising.
My Experience:
The package arrived in an elegant cardboard box and the cream itself was packaged in a very cute looking tub that pretty much resembles a Christmas Cupcake. The cream is white in colour and has a thick texture but glides smoothly into the skin with gentle massaging and the famous Korean Pat-pat. It provides my skin with an immense hydration that is enough to get me through the 24 hours until I shower the next day, even when I skip the serums.
Like any other skincare product I used it for 21 days before writing the review because that’s how long it takes for your skin to regenerate. And I’m glad to come to the final verdict that I really like it. It’s my first product from this brand and I love how it makes my skin look plump and provides my skin with an amazing hydration. The presence of the plant derived Squalene Extract gave me the hopes in the first place and it lived up to my hopes. Apart from the Squalene Extract it’s also formulated with Shea Butter, Eleutherococcus gracilistylus extract, Lavender Oil, Rosemary oil and such. It is free from 7 HARMFUL INGREDIENTS ( 6 Types of Paraben, Benzophenone, Artificial fragrance, Imidazolidinyl urea, Tar Pigment, Harmful minerals, Animal oil).
