It’s Beginning To Look a Lot Like Christmas: Blogmas Day 1
Hola people, it’s been a while that I have been active on my blog. But as the holiday season is upon us I guess I have no excuse but to give a glimpse of my life during the festivities here on my blog. I have decided to be as active as I can on my blog and on my social media this month.
Not only do I plan on posting everyday on my Instagram account, all the posts will be related to CHRISTMAS! My favourite time of the year! I will also try to make some blog posts related to the theme, you know BLOGMAS! And then there’s YouTube, not my best talent, yet I want to give it another go!
Christmas this year is highly anticipated. Not only is this my baby’s first Christmas, but my sister is also planning to come home for Christmas this year. She might finally get to meet my baby and I’m just soooo excited about it. Christmas is all about family and love and since we might not make it to the Church this Pandemic Christmas, we plan on making the most out of it will family.
I’ve have been staying by myself since I was 17, but never once I decorated my own place during Christmas. Just because I always came home for Christmas, even though I spend the majority of December at my own place. But this year it’s going to be different. It’s my baby’s first Christmas. It’s our first Christmas staying at an apartment that feels like home. Like I mentioned in a few previous articles, neither my husband, nor I liked our previous apartment. We never decorated it as it never felt like home. But the apartment we currently live in was chosen by us, and it does feel home, and it’s our first December here so I just want to bring the Holiday spirit in here. I know I cannot go overboard this year because like most people surviving 2020 we aren’t doing financially well and with a new baby his expenses are always our top priority. However, even with the bare minimum, I just want to somehow bring the Christmas Spirit in our new home.
At my parent’s place we have major plans. We plan on decorating our party hall and since we already have so much decorations and ornaments collected through years and years and years, we can go overboard. My cousin have spent the lockdown growing a wonderful garden at my aunt’s place and we plan on having a barbeque at their house *fingerscrossed*.
So all in all, I do have a lot of plan, and now let’s just see how much can I go forward with. Keep an eye on my Instagram account to see how much I can pull off this year. And also if you have any Christmas posts requests, please don’t forget to comment down below.
