Innisfree My Real Squeeze Mask – Pomegranate Review
So as I wrote in one of my previous posts, I did a Mask A Day Challenge for a month throughout last November which means so many sheetmasks reviews are upcoming on the blog. As I have been disappointed with a few sheetmasks, I thought how about reviewing a sheetmask that I actually liked today.
Being 29 and not having a solid anti-aging routine I love applying anti-aging sheetmasks every now and then. So I got myself (and my mom) a bunch of Pomegranate masks from the new range from Innisfree.
Features:
- Naturally-derived thin yet strong 100% cellulose triple-layered sheet
- Freshness of ingredients is extracted with the cold brew squeeze method
- Customized solution depending on skin condition
- Pomegranate, widely known as a “fruit for women” for being ideal for beauty and health, keeps the skin vibrant and radiant
Ingredients:
Water, Glycerin, Dipropylene Glycol, Alcohol, Betaine, Punica Granatum Fruit Juice, Dimethicone, Panthenol, Butylene Glycol, Paeonia Suffruticosa Root Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, 1,2-Hexanediol, Peg-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Glyceryl Caprylate, Xanthan Gum, Carbomer, Adenosine, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Ethylhexylglycerin, Potassium Hydroxide, Disodium Edta, Sodium Palmitoyl Sarcosinate, Fragrance, Pantolactone, Sodium Hyaluronate, Camellia Japonica Leaf Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Citrus Unshiu Peel Extract, Opuntia Coccinellifera Fruit Extract, Orchid Extract
When the range was recently launched, I read somewhere that the new line is alcohol free, but the presence of alcohol in the ingredient list, that too high up, is just disappointing.
My experience:
It was my 5th day of sheetmasking a day and I used it after a DIY mask so naturally my skin was already clear when I used it. The essence was clear and liquidy and the fitting was so bad that I decided not to click the sheetmask selfie. There were extra essence that I used on my neck and my arms and the sheet was still wet when I removed it 30 minutes later.
Upon removing the sheetmask I revealed a very hydrated, healthy and radiant skin that felt as soft as a baby’s butt. I can’t say how long the hydration lasted as it was the Ginseng mask next day but overall I’m pretty impressed with the sheetmask. This is the type of mask that I would apply time and time again to compensate for my anti-aging care.
Pros:
- Available easily
- Does what it claims
- Reasonably priced
Cons:
- Ill fitting
Where to buy:

Price:

Ill fitting sheet masks are such a bummer. They make the entire experience of masking super uncomfortable.
