Guest Post: Top 7 Hottest Fashion Trends From Runway 2018
The Fashion Month has come to an end and has left behind a trail of new trends. Some of these trends are old that have been revived with a little contemporary touch while some match the bright colors of the spring season perfectly. We have done a little study into the fashion trends of this year’s runway and have come up with some great ones. Have a look at these seven hot trends that are going to rock your world.
- Hot Pink
You might have seen Valentine’s Day-ready red, Millennial pink, and pink, but now you will see fuchsia hue as it has taken the pedestal as the it-color of the season. Rock it this fall just like the models at the runways did.
- Statement Tights
Colorful tights might feel like a dated trend from a long time ago. But now is the exact time when we need a pinch of color. You can choose the silvery options from Tom Ford and breathe a new life into your look.
- Sportswear
Another face of the 80s theme is here. That’s right; it is none other than the sportswear. Admire Gucci’s two-piece and Isabel Marant’s tracksuit worn with high heels. A great way to carry off this fashion trend is to dilute heavily. Take a shellsuit jacket and wear it with something seriously bold on the bottom, or team the sporty trainers with a pretty summer dress. Wear the hot shot coco bra under it, and you are good to go!
- Embrace Silver
When we talk about silver, we have to mention how big a deal it is this season. From leather skirts to the paper-bag pants and evening dresses you name it, shiny silver garments have taken top honors at Sally Tibi and more. Just like black or white, metallic colors are neutrals colors that can be styled with anything.
- Puff Sleeves
Remember the 80s when puffy sleeves were the thing of the day? Get ready to rock them once again in a variety of clothing items. Puff sleeved jackets, pristine white slouchy boots, high-waisted jeans and big-shouldered printed dresses are what you should be going for. The debut show of Claire Waight Keller for Givenchy was a parade of strong, squared blouses in graphic prints that are working girl-worthy, and teamed them with cowboy boots.
- Feather Clothes
Feathers have been used throughout history for decorative purposes, but in recent years they have become tainted by associations with the likes of Las Vegas showgirls. This season is all about gold brocade versions with white feathers sticking out from the shoulders. It is not rain-friendly, but it is worth it. It is also a great way to add texture to your clothes during the warmer months.
- Suit Shorts
Summer fashion trends 2018 have seen the rise of the Statement Short. Louis Vuitton brought some silky boxer style, Saint Laurent’s high-waisted leathers, and a whole host of Shorts Suits.
If you want to up your style game this season, you must include all these items in your wardrobe.
