Dandruff is a very common problem which can be caused due to skin condition called seborrheic dermatitis, eczema, and psoriasis or yeast line like malassezia. Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar is an effective tool for dandruff removal. It is acidic in nature which helps in balancing pH level of your scalp skin and helps in fighting against yeast and bacteria. First dilute apple cider vinegar by mixing water and apple cider vinegar in equal quantity. Massage this mixture on your scalp for about 10 to 15 minutes and wash it with water. Apply this mixture on scalp twice a week.
Aloe-Vera Gel
Apply aloe Vera gel is yet another item that can help you in avoiding and treating dandruff. Dandruff can be caused due to dead skin cells however aloe Vera gel contains pectin and polysaccharides which encourages growth of new cells which means healthy scalp. In addition to this aloe Vera gel has antifungal properties that kills the bacteria and removes dandruff causing yeast and fungus on your skin. Just like olive oil, aloe Vera gel also soothes and moisturizes your dry scalp and removes fizziness from hairs making hairs so smooth that you want to keep touching your hairs. Olive oil
The use of olive oil twice or thrice a week keeps your scalp moisturized. Olive oil easily penetrates into dry and flacking areas of your scalp, unclogs the follicles which in return reduces scalp irritation and dandruff. Hot oil treatment is best for mild to moderate dandruff. You can apply olive oil by dipping a cotton swab in warm olive oil and apply it into your roots.
Yogurt with Egg
A mixture of yogurt and egg can do wonders for your hairs. Egg is rich in protein, biotin and Sulphur which is important for healthy scalp and hair while yogurt is rich in vitamin B5, proteins and antibacterial properties. The creamy yogurt reduces irritation of scalp by moisturizing it, unclogs the pores of scalp, help oil gland function properly and also helps to eliminate dandruff. On the other hand, egg nourishes scalp skin with proteins and fats making scalp skin dandruff free and hairs stronger.
Mix 1 cup of yogurt with an egg to thick consistency and leave the mixture in your hair for half an hour and wash it with regular shampoo.
Tea tree oil
Oil is the best method to prevent scalp from dandruff. Use of tea tree oil is very significant in removal of dandruff. Tea tree oil is famous for its antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties that make it one of the most effective essential oil that can help in treating hair and skin conditions. Apply tea tree oil with some carrier oil for one to two hours and then wash it with shampoo. This practice will soon minimize dandruff.
Onion Juice
A common reason of dandruff is dry scalp. Onion is rich in Sulphur that helps that in avoiding dry scalp. Onion contains anti-bacterial properties that fights scalp infection and prevents hairs from dandruff. Grind onion with small amount of water. Onion juice not only helps in preventing hair loss but also helps in regrowth of your loss hairs.
Aspirin
One of the tools to remove dandruff includes aspirin. Aspirin includes Salicylic acid. Salicylic acid helps to lose the flakes that wash out easily through water. Add few (2 to 3 tablets) of aspirin to the amount of shampoo you use a single time to wash your hair. Crushed aspirin tablets than add it into the shampoo. This practice will help to remove dandruff from scalp.
Lemon Juice with yogurt
Mix quarter of small size lemon in half cup of yogurt. Massage this mixture on your scalp. Leave it for 15 minutes and then wash it with water. Repeat this process twice a week. Lemon is acidic in nature and contains antifungal properties that help in improving dry and itchy scalp.
