Over the course of last 4 years, I’ve tried MANY Korean Beauty brands but unfortunately Laneige wasn’t one of them. My guest author Anwesha reviewed a few of their products and she loved the brand. I personally always wanted to try their products, but due to PR Samples I always had my vanity stashed whenever I had my eyes on any Laneige products and I would say to myself “after this certain product runs out”. So when Nykaa launced Laneige I had to grab a handful of their sheetmasks and I’ll be start reviewing with the Whitening one because I am terribly, terribly tanned and dark right now.

My Experience:

So because I sheetmask very frequently, I try to choose my sheetmasks very wisely, and that is, choosing the ones that doesn’t contain alcohol, and the Laneige sheetmasks are one of them. The sheet came out without leaving any leftover serum which means no messy dripping. The serum was thick and milky and the fitting was amazing. It totally gave the second skin feeling and I could go on with my chores without feeling like my sheet will slip off my face. The sheet came with a mesh sheet attached, something I’m not very fond of since I’m trying to be more eco friendly.

After about 25 minutes I removed the sheet to reveal a much hydrated and a little brighter skin. The niacinamide did its job, as it takes a lot for brightening products to make my skin look bright when it’s tanned. The effect lasted the next 2 days and now I’m eagerly waiting to try more sheetmasks from the brand.
