Fab Bag Mishap-June 2016 Fab Bag Review

I have stopped subscribing to Beauty Bags a couple of months back. I really need to make some room for my beauty products before ordering further products. However, I ran out of my usual eye cream a few days back and have been using a new one which is not making any visible improvement to my stubborn dark circles. While I was ordering a new eye cream (before my previous eye cream ran out) I found out that the June Fab Bag contains the Janseen RoC Eye Cream. How convenient! It was the fourth and already a few people had received their bags. Without wasting any more time I subscribed to the 3 months plan. Probably around 17th June I received a text asking me to select the Shade for the Be A Bombshell Eye Shadow Crayon. At this point, I’ve been thinking things cannot get any better than this.

However, my June Fab Bag turned out to be a nightmare when I received it yesterday. It contained only three products, two of which were tiny samples. To my horror, I realized that I’ve received may be a 10ml sample of Nyassa face wash instead of the RoC cream. There was a shea butter and a coffee scrub, I searched and searched the bag but the Be a Bombshell Eye Shadow Crayon was nowhere to be found. I looked into the product details card and it clearly said that there’s a Be A Bombshell inside the bag, but honestly, there wasn’t.

I immediately mailed the Fab Bag Crew letting them know about the mishap and today morning I received a mail from them letting me know that they are shipping me the missing product. Phew! At least it isn’t a total mishap after all. I should say that the Fab Bag Crew is real fast with fixing their mishaps. That one time I received a broken eye shadow and then they sent me another one. Another time, I was travelling and returned to a messy Fab Bag with a leaked Votre Serum inside. Their policy said that you need to mail them within 48hrs after receiving the bag but I was about a week late. Still I mailed them, clearly knowing that I’ll receive a negative answer, which I did. But the next day I received a call from the Votre team and within a few days the Serum was at my door step. However, since you need to send them a picture of the damaged product, and in this case the whole product was missing, so I was worrying that I’ll get a negative answer. Honestly speaking, if I did, it would have been my last order, but I didn’t, instead I received a mail around the afternoon letting me know that the missing product has been shipped. But I really can’t hold the review waiting for the Be A Bombshell to be at my door step, especially when the expected date of delivery is 3rd July.

So here’s everything I received with My June Fab Bag:

Skin Yoga Coffee Body Scrub:

The only full-sized product so far. I love coffee, and I love body scrubs, so there’s no denying the fact I’ll enjoy using it. But taken to the fact that there’s really no space on my cabinet (I happen to be a shower freak and I can literally do a post showing off my body scrub, body wrap and shower gel collection) I am not jumping in joy upon receiving the product.

Nyassa Face Wash with Tea Tree Oil:

One word, disappointment.

Karite Buerre Pure Shea Butter:

20g sample. I have no clue how to use it. I might love if I can use it as a face cream without my face sweating.

So that’s it. That’s all I’ve received with my June Fab bag. I’ll make sure to update this post once I receive my Be A Bombshell. I’m still disappointed on not receiving the eye cream. May be they ran out of stock and I ordered late (4th  June). At least the bag looks amazing. I would have spent the whole amount on purchasing the bag itself. Since you guys know I travel too much (hometown à Kolkata, Kolkata -> hometown and occasional trips), you guys can guess which Fab Bag I’ll use as a make-up pouch from now on…

Fab Bag February 2016 Review

Hey guys, as you all might know that the delivery of this month’s Fab Bag had been delayed for some reason. I received my Fab Bag a day or two ago, ( I wasn’t in town for a few days and found them waiting on my table upon my arrival).

It’s been a very bad couple of months for me to receive parcels. Last month I received a leaked serum with my Fab Bag. I was travelling to Delhi and I was already a week late to I checked it. As per Fab Bag policy you have to write them within 48 hrs of the delivery in case you receive any damaged product. I wrote them weeks later. But the Votre team was too nice to send me another serum. Yesterday I received two broken products. Unfortunately, one of them was a Eye Shadow I received with this month’s Fab Bag.

So here’s everything I received with my February Fab Bag…

Fab Bag 2

Kronokare Provencal Lavender Smooth  (Ening) Operator Body Lotion (Rs.110/- for 60 ml)

I received a full-sized product which expires this August. Honestly, I expect products that are not more than an year old. It’s a shame for the brand to provide almost expired products.

Just Herbs Coorgi Coffee Lip Smoothening Salve (Rs. 345 /- for 8 gm)

I am a huge fan of Just Herbs and this little lip balm tub is absolutely adorable. It has a lovely smell of coffee and keeps your lips moisturized for a long period of time.

Chamki Nail Polish (Rs: 150/- for 9 ml)

I love receiving full-sized make up with my FabBag. Haven’t applied it on my nails yet, but sure I will.

HIKARI COsmetics Eyeshadow- Haze (Full Size: Rs:1000/-)

This is what a broken heart looks like. Being a smokey eye obsessed, I absolutely love the colour. even though it’s broken, it’s skill my favourite product from the bag. I mailed the FabBag crew with this picture and I hope that they sent me a replacement.

Roots Professional Morocvita Oil (Rs.2000/- for 120ml)

My 2nd favourite product from the bag. I received a 5ml sample which will last me 3-4 application.

Overall, I loved this month’s FabBag. I just hope that I receive a replacement for the Eye Shadow.

There’s still one more day to order your own bag.

The Beauty Resolutions-January 2016 Fab Bag Review

Hey guys, I haven’t posted in a week as I was travelling to Delhi and Agra. I came back at my hometown yesterday at midnight and our housekeeper handed me this box. I was exhausted and tired but that didn’t stop me from taking a look inside the box before hopping into the shower.

I might have said it before, but this bag really has to be the best bag EVER. The cosmetic printed bag is really chic and classy and can be used as s make-up pouch. I was even more thrilled when I looked inside the bag.

Fab Bag

Here’s everything that was inside the bag:

Bellapierre Mineral Lipstick – Ruby (Full Size: Rs.1500)-

Bella Pierre

One product to make the whole bag more than worth it. The last time they gave away Bellapierre lisptick with the bag, I introduced FabBag to a friend giving her the whole bag. So, when I received it again, this time for myself to keep, I was more than thrilled. I have been attending weddings for like decades. I just came back from Agra yesterday after attending a big fat Punjabi wedding, have got 3 wedding to attend today itself, and then attending a dear friend’s wedding as her Bridesmaid day after tomorrow. Guess which lipstick I’m going to rock this season? 😉

Natural Bath & Body – Clay Mask (Rs.450 for 100 ml)- 20gm & Whipped Cream (Rs.275 for  50 ml)-15gmclay

All natural and organic, I have real high hopes on this products.

Divo Eyelas Curler ( Full Size: Rs.125)

Being blessed with naturally curly lashes I never used an Eyelash Curler. However, I have been meaning to purchase one, but I always tend to forget about it when I shop, so I am glad I received it with my Fab Bag.

Votre Face Serum (Full Size: 1670 for 12ml)

Meant to be the star product of the bag, this serum somehow managed to leak in my bag. The whole bag would have messed up if it wasn’t wrapped carefully in a bubble wrap. It’s a pity that the product got leaked as I would have loved to try it.

Overall, I loved this month’s bag. There’s not a single item which I didn’t like. I would strongly recommend ordering this month’s bag if you haven’t already. You can order the bag here: http://www.fabbag.com/women.html

Fab Bag October 2015 Review

Hi guys, I received my October Fab Bag yesterday but didn’t get time to write the review, so better late than never 🙂

October is the month of festivals, and just 4 days before Durga Puja, I received my festive themed Fab Bag.

How gorgeous it is!

Speaking of what was inside the bag, get ready to envy me if you haven’t ordered this month’s Fab Bag

See what am talking about?

Here’s everything I got in the bag:

Bella Pierre Mineral Lipstick Ruby:

My favourite product from the bag. I am a big fan of coral and ruby lipsticks and you can imagine my excitement for getting a full-sized Bella Piere lipstick in the colour ruby just before Durga Puja. The lasting power of the lipstick is mind-blowing, and I’m glad that I got to meet this brand via Fab Bag.

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Body Lotion:

I’ll take it that this product needs no introduction. Palmer’s is a widely loved brand and receiving their body lotion during fall is like a cherry on the top.

Price: 545/- for 400ml

Spa Ceylon Green Mist Cooling Foot Relief:

Spa Ceylon is a new brand to me which was introduced by the Fab Bag team this month. I haven’t used this product yet but mint cooling foot relief sounds fun since I have tiring day at work almost every single day.

Price: 1100/- for 300ml

Nyassa Oceana Foaming Face Scrub:

All beauty bags has a least loved product, and this on is mine. I hate apricot scrubs and I hope the granules of this scrub are not as big as the apricot scrubs. I am very particular about scrubs since they can damage your skin on a permanent basis.

I haven’t yet tried this one out, but I’ll try and review it as soon as I can.

Along with the products, the bag also contains a Fab Post magazine and a information card…

Overall this month’s Fab Bag was amazing and you guys should order the bag too, if you already haven’t.
