Ever since I introduced dietary supplements in my daily life, my overall health has improved noticeably and I’ve been taking lesser prescription meds than I used to. However, today’s review will be based on a supplement that I kind of ‘experimented’ on my fiancé.

Zenith Nutrition L-Citrulline :

L-Citrulline is a natural amino acid that supports sports performance and good health, while at the same time helping the liver detoxify. L-Citrulline helps the body rid itself of ammonia, a by-product of intense exercise. This clearing enables the body to recover after a workout, and it frees ATP energy for enhanced uses such as respiration and signal transduction. *Daily value not established.

The reason that I didn’t take this supplement myself is because L-Citrulline helps lower blood pressure but I already suffer from low blood pressure and I didn’t want to risk getting it lower. So I had my fiancé take it, who doesn’t work out at all. However, even though he doesn’t work out, both of us have had a real tight schedule lately. Along with his 10-7 job (which turns 10-10 most of the days) and the wedding preparation, he’s also helping a few friends setup their studio at the same time. Taking the L-Citruline supplements has certainly helped maintain his energy level and I would have loved to take it myself since I used to work out even if not intense. The wedding preparation has certainly taken a toll on both of our lifestyle and I’ve completely stopped working out even when I’m certainly aware that this is the time I should be taking better care of myself. If I weren’t already suffering from low blood pressure, I think it would have helped maintain my energy level and I might have taken some time out of my busy schedule to work out since the other supplements from Zenith Nutrition has worked really well for me. Since the shopping is almost over, I’m looking forward to maintain a healthier lifestyle and increase my blood pressure a little more and certainly resume working out while taking these supplements.

My fiancé has been taking them for a couple of weeks and has noticed energy level increase. He have not suffered from any side-effects and I think it’s a great choice for people who have intense workout routine.
